Why I haven’t posted anything for so long …

You’ve probably asked yourself why I stopped posting. I got dozens of messages and questions and I am deeply sorry for my sudden disappearance. I also want to thank you guys for support and everything!

So the reason why I stopped posting is pretty bad: I’m seriously sick.

At first I didn’t want to tell anyone but it’s not getting any better and I feel like it’s my obligation to tell you. As soon as I get better, I will start posting again:) It just takes a little while.

Sorry for disappointing you
Much love to everyone❤

International Recipes are coming! – Review

Hey there little butterflies,

You may have noticed my new sushi recipe. Well, it’s part one of my International Recipe Collection! I thought some variety would be refreshing, so I hope you like the theme:) My next recipes will include Indian curry honey zucchini with shrimp (45 cal) and international rice balls (French, Asian, Russian and Italian. Each ball for 6 calories!) and much more.
If you have any special wishes, please let me know. Maybe I can make it happen.

I still have many other recipes I will post after my little collection! I hope you like them.

Enjoy cooking and baking!

10 Sushi Rolls (all for 38.5 cal)

Hey there,
Some people were asking for chinese recipes and the first thing that came into my mind was SUSHI! So I made sushi for the first time in my life. All 10 sushi rolls have 38.5 calories (3.85 cal per roll) and I would count them to the bigger kind:)
The recipe can be tricky, especially the wrapping, but I’m sure you can do it!
Enjoy cooking!

Ingredients:
2 Eggplants
20g / 0.70 oz little shrimps (5 shrimps)
200g / 7 oz Konjac Rice/Shirataki Rice/Miracle Rice
Walden Farms Asia Dressing/Walden Farms Sesame Ginger Dressing

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • First of all, let the shrimps thaw.
(Tip: Mine had 50 calories per 100 grams)
  • Now peel both eggplants lengthwise. You can peel them as ‘wide’ as you want to, but all of them should have about 85g / 3oz. Mine were about 1.5 to 2 inches wide and 7 inches long. Make sure to scoop out as much of the eggplant as possible (So only the shell is left).
  • Now steam these slices until the water becomes dark blue or dark purple.
  • In this time, you can stir fry the miracle rice. I also added 2 tbsp of one of the above-listed Walden Farms Dressings.
(Tip: I preferred the Sesame Ginger Dressing to say the truth).
  • Now dry the eggplant slices and cut the shrimps in two.
  • It’s time to roll the sushi! I am not very talented in this and I’ve never ever done it before (but as you can see, it came out okay!). Because of that, I made rolls and positioned them upwards, so I could fill them with the rice and one piece of shrimp. The eggplant is very sticky, thus everything holds together pretty well.
(Tip 1: You may need to shorten the eggplant slices a bit.
Tip 2: Let them stand there for a bit or put them in the fridge, so they can settle.)

And voilá!.. Or  紫百合, as the chinese say.. Here we have 10 delicious sushi rolls:)

Pancakes (4 for 26cal)

I’m sorry I wasn’t really active the last couple of days, I was really busy. But as a little apology, I finally post the pancake recipe! All four of them have 26 calories and are very delicious. The may be a bit tricky, especially the whole frying thing but once you got it right, they are amazing.
Enjoy baking!

Ingredients in grams:

20g oat fiber
1/2 tsp glucomannan
3 tbs Stevia
2 tbs Water
50 ml unsweetened almond milk
2 servings no-egg (or 2 egg whites)
7 drops of vanilla extract
Dash of salt
Ingredients in ounces:

0.7 oz
1/2 tsp glucomannan
3 tbs Stevia
2 tbs Water
1.7 oz unsweetened almond milk
2 servings no-egg (or 2 egg whites)
7 drops of vanilla extract
Dash of salt
INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Mix all of the ingredients together into a bowl
(Tip 1: Only use water if it is not runny enough. If it already is pretty fluid, don’t use it.
Tip 2: I’m frutarian but I prefer making them with real egg whites, it is way easier and also tastes better.)
  • Now put the dough into a non-stick pan and fry it for a couple of minutes.
(Tip 1: Only 1-2 tbs at a time.
Tip 2: Use a low calorie butter spray, it makes it a lot easier and tastier!
Tip3: Do not rush things. The dough needs a while, especially with no-egg. Don’t use the maximum temperature.)

Violá! Here we have 4 delicious and low calorie pancakes:) Btw, I put Walden Farms Pancake Syrup over it.

Granola Bar (45 cal)

Hey there, I’m back with probably my easiest recipe ever:)
One granola bar for 120 calories? This time is over! I’ve created a delicious 45 calorie granola bar, which also is super healthy and sugar free!

Enjoy baking

Ingredients in grams:

10 g Spelt flakes
2 1/2 tbs Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
1/3 Rice cake (about 3 grams)

Ingredients in ounces:

0.35 oz Spelt flakes
2 1/2 tbs Walden Farms Pancake Syrup
1/3 Rice cake (about 0.1 oz)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Pre heat oven to 390 degrees F.
  • Mix all of the ingredients together, form a granolar bar and put it into the oven for about 20-25 minutes
(Tip: I put Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup over it, to get a chocolaty taste)

Tadaa! Super easy, super low cal and super healthy snack under 40 calories:)

Walden Farms: Chocolate Dip

Hey there butterflies,

I got loads of requests and so I finally tried it too:The Walden Farms Chocolate Dip.

At first I thought ‘Okay they probably put the syrup into a bottling jar. Big improvement.’ But actually, the Chocolate Dip tastes different. Better or worse? Hard to decide. I don’t recommend eating WF products with a spoon anyways, but the sweetener taste was undeniable stronger. I am currently creating soft ice cream and I will try to involve this dip, because it’s not useless. If you’re used to a certain kind of sweetener after taste, you’ll like this product.

6 out of 10 butterflies:)
